More Magnets!

Today the boys looked through the examples and completed requests from the geniuses at DISboards.com and choose some graphics for the stateroom door.

More stuff!  Awesome!

Paid In Full

Ever since booking this cruise back in June, we have been making payments on it.  The final payment was made on Christmas Eve, as a sort of Christmas present to us.

We're all paid up!  Tomorrow we can start booking excursions and doing the "Check-In" stuff online. I just hope we can get reservations to Palo for brunch on a day that works for us...or even at all.

So excited!!!!!

5 Months to go!!!

Time is passing by. It would be nice to say that it's "flying by," but in reality, it seems to be crawling.

However, we are down to the Five month mark already. And still collecting more magnetic signs.

Twittering along

I am following a Twitter user who is current sailing on Disney Wonder in the Caribbean. They have posted some awesome pictures and rekindled the excitement and stress of waiting.

So, I set up a Twitter account to keep updates going out as the trip comes closer.

I am stockpiling graphics to make into magnets for our Stateroom Door. Can't wait. I have the basics I want, but I still need the boys to choose a Disney character they want on their plates.

Is is March yet?

The Beat Goes On

I've been collecting graphics and signs to print and apply to our stateroom door. This is addictive. Can't wait for March to get here.

I'll post samples of some of the signs in the near future.

Where do you go to find out about a cruise, when you have never done it before?

Well, you start out with the cruise line’s webpage. Lots of generic information about the boat, but not a lot that is specifically helpful.

So…Google it. Wow. After a couple of pages of people wanted to book me a cruise, I found a gem. The DIS Board.

Thanks to the Disney fanatics on Dis Board, I have more information that I could ever imagine. It seems that 90% of the members have cruised with DCL at least a zillion times each.

And the graphics and stuff you can print and attach to the stateroom door? Incredible!

I will be spending a LOT of time sifting through the posts on this board. Woo Hoo!

And So It Begins

Thanks to Disney Cruise Line’s “Kids Sail Free” special, we are now booked on a Mexican Riviera cruise in March of 2011.

I have created this blog to chronicle our story as we get everything together, learn about the boat and the cruise, and get the butterflies in the stomach thing.

We can’t wait for the time to pass.
